I have to say, I was more than a little gobsmacked when a friend of mine tweeted that Cory Doctorow had posted a link to my blog on BoingBoing.net. I have been a fan since I first stumbled across Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom right around the time my family moved to Orlando. I read Eastern Standard Tribe literally while sitting in line for the passholder sneak preview for the Revenge of the Mummy ride at Universal. If there is anyone on the internet I truly admire, that would be Cory Doctorow and I am truly honored that he would post about my son.

For the record, my name is Ron Miles and not Alan Philipson. Alan is an author friend of mine, and in fact the name of my blog (Stalk This!) is a reference to a line from one of his books.

Also for all its worth, I am in the process of writing a book about Ben's ten year romance with Snow White's Scary Adventures. If you are interested in that book, please check back here again soon. I am working on fixing up this site and making it more presentable (it was fine when it had a viewership of a half dozen friends and family, but needs a fresh coat of paint to make it presentable to all the new guests). I won't have the book completed and ready for distribution until 2013, but I will post more information about it soon and hopefully add some kind of signup for people who are interested in hearing about it when it is ready.
